An alternatives-focused investment platform has raised over ?1,750 crore for its sixth real estate fund, aimed at investments across the top eight cities in India. In the current financial year, the platform has committed around ?1,300 crore to developers, with ?1,000 crore allocated to projects in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata from the latest fund.
The fund has made investments in mid-income housing projects across multiple cities and developers, while also achieving over 11 exits from previous funds, generating robust returns of around ?1,000 crore over the past year.
Launched with a target corpus of ?2,000 crore, the fund raised capital from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and corporate investors, including prior investors.
The platform currently manages six real estate funds alongside multiple standalone non-convertible debenture (NCD) investments. Its cumulative real estate assets under management (AUM) exceed ?9,500 crore. Overall, the alternative investment platform has made 168 investments, secured 100 complete exits, and manages over $2 billion in AUM across asset classes.
